Materials and Methods

One of the most common materials used in the design and fabrication of a custom trade show exhibit is laminate. Carpenters understand the properties and characteristics of laminate enough to know what to expect when they work with it. Project managers know to buy a vertical post forming grade laminate when skinning round columns. Or use a normal, multi-purpose grade laminate for flat surfaces.

In our first article we looked at the issue of eco-sensitive products in the trade show/exhibit industry.  For our next series of articles we will look at individual materials and what you should consider when discussing them with your clients and your team members.

First off we will start off with the issue of wood that is used in custom exhibits.  What makes it a green product?
